Level 1, Level 2, or Level 3 — We Do All Three.
Most homeowners only need a Level 1 annual inspection. But if you're buying a home, recovering from a chimney fire, or noticing strange smells, you may need more. Here's what we offer:
Level 1 — Annual Maintenance Inspection
Your routine yearly checkup. We examine all readily accessible portions of the chimney, fireplace, and connections. Perfect for homeowners who use their chimney regularly and haven't had any major issues. This is what most homeowners need.
Level 2 — Real Estate & Insurance Inspections
Required when buying or selling a home, after an operating malfunction, or after a chimney fire. Includes a video camera scan of the flue interior to catch hidden cracks, damage, and structural concerns. Mortgage lenders and insurance companies often require this.
Level 3 — Structural Investigation
The most thorough inspection. May involve removing parts of the chimney or building structure to investigate hidden hazards. We only recommend this when serious structural damage is suspected — never as a default upsell.
